Younger sister of the European Causeway, the European Highlander is a freight ferry to and from Northern Ireland that operates on our Cairnryan-Larne freight route shipping service. This freight ship was one of the first purpose built in Japan just for this route and has been running since 2002. With a headroom clearance of 5.20m, she can travel at speeds of up to 23 knots, which makes her one of the fastest ferries on the Irish Sea, carrying tourist and freight passengers.
